With events being cancelled and entertainment mostly being confined to a tv screen, there’s no wonder quad bikes (also known as ATV’s - All Terrain Vehicles) are becoming increasingly popular. They get you or your kids out of the house and they are fun and awesome to drive! So much so they are attractive to both kids and adults alike and with modern day technology and designs they are safer and more reliable. 

Petrol Quad Bikes 

A traditional ATV would be petrol powered. Many people still would rather choose this option, even though electric models can also offer lots of power (especially with today’s technological advancements). 

What makes petrol bikes so attractive? Petrol based quad bikes are easy to fill. You also don’t have to wait for them to charge, so you can quickly jump on and take your bike out for a ride. 

There’s also the sound of the engines. Petrol quad bikes have a louder purr and when you increase the throttle sound awesome! 

Electric Quad Bikes 

Die-hard fans of the petrol variety shouldn’t discount electric quad bikes. Electric quad bikes are eco-friendly and are relatively easier to upkeep. They are also less noisy and for smaller riders are easier to drive. 

As these quad bikes don’t use fuel, you will find they produce no fumes which is kinder to the environment and you can just plug them in, wait for them to charge and away you go!  Plus they are mess free! 

If you don’t want to annoy your neighbours yet want to purchase a quad bike for your child, the electric quad bike might be the best option. Many people love the noise of a quad bike when ridden, but not being on the other side of it!
