How to get your Kids off the computer and Get on a Quad Bike.

It’s the technology that has changed so much in the last few decades and so has child behaviour, some of these behaviours are beneficial but, in many cases, it can be harmful and stop personal growth, so we need children to be able to find hobbies that are outside of these technological spheres and nothing better than a Quad Bike.

Can you think of any electronic game that can get your children out into the countryside or garden on a designed quad bike for kids, for the child to experience the fun and adrenaline of this type will soon get them hooked on an outdoor adventure.

We suggest talking about the hobby with your child and show them some videos or let them have a go at a local Quad biking park and see how they get on without too much pressure. If you discover that this is something they love to pursue, we have a large range of quad bikes for all ages and abilities, we can of course help in selecting the right bike for you.

When buying the bike for your children consider the following and of course, we are here to help with the logistics of getting the right bike and getting started.

Safety equipment – Our number one priority, as much fun as Quad Biking is, accidents can happen and best to get the right protection

Parental Instruction

Make sure that the advice we give on the instructions are followed and our kids’ bikes come with some form of beginner support for example a throttle restrictor &/or a Safety lanyard are included whilst starting off.

Check the Landscape

Look over where you will be having the quad or dirt bike riding, check that the landscape or course doesn’t have any hidden badger holes or areas that make it too difficult to manoeuvre and come to a safe stop.

Consider lessons

If you are concerned with giving instruction yourself as a parent and don’t feel you have experience to get them going, there are plenty of quad bike operators that can offer lessons with experienced instructors.

In summary

Quad biking for the kids is a rewarding outdoor activity that will inspire the adventurer in them.
